Pistol Classes
Beginner/Basic Classes:
NC Concealed Carry Class- This class is the NC Concealed Carry Class needed to obtain your concealed carry permit. We will give our students the tools they need to become NC CCW permit holders, but also more comfortable and confident pistol shooters. (9hrs/$75/50 rounds needed)
USCCA Basic Handgun- Are you new to handgun shooting or a new defensive handgun owner? This USCCA certified Basic Handgun Skills class that will cover basic shooting fundamentals in a stress free environment! (2hrs/$40/50 rounds needed)
Beginner Pistol- This class is for new handgun shooters/handgun owners. This class will cover safety, assembly/disassembly, cleaning, clearing malfunctions, weapons handling, and marksmanship. (4hrs/$75/60 rounds needed)
Beginner Pistol Skills- This class is for new handgun shooters/handgun owners who want to shoot more and work on fundamentals. This class will cover weapons handling, marksmanship, draws, reloads, basic fundamentals. It was designed for those who have taken beginner pistol or their concealed carry class who want to work on basics to get more comfortable before progressing on. (3hrs/$65/150 rounds needed)
Fundamental Classes:
USCCA Defensive Shooting Fundamentals- Come join USCCA certified instructors for an awesome USCCA certified course. Understand the principles of defensive shooting, focusing on marksmanship, draws, reloads, recoil control, mindset, when to fire, and more! (3hrs/$65/150 rounds needed)
Defensive Handgun 1- Our flagship handgun course! This class will cover how to utilize a handgun more accurately and quickly in a defensive role. This will cover defensive mindset, draws, various reloads, multiple shot engagements, marksmanship, clearing malfunctions, drills, and more. (6hrs/$135/300 rounds required)
Everyday Carry 1- Identical to Defensive Handgun 1, except completely done from concealment and with lower round count drills to account for micro pistols. This class is for ALL CCW holders and will teach you how to better deploy and use your handgun in a realistic self-defense manner. It will cover draws and reloads from concealed, marksmanship, carry items, holster options, better ways to carry, brain training drills, cover/concealment, and multiple defensive shooting scenarios. (6hrs/$135/300 rounds required)
Red Dot Handgun- If you carry, or use a handgun with a red dot sight (RDS) mounted, learn to maximize its efficiency and effectiveness. Topics will include finding the dot, draws, presentations, distance shooting, dot fundamentals, holds, dot tracking, target transitions, enhanced marksmanship, and more. Learn the pros and cons by unlocking the dot's full potential. (6.5hrs/$150/350 rounds required)
Defensive Revolver 1- This class will cover how to utilize a revolver more accurately and quickly in a defensive role. This will cover defensive mentality, multiple shot engagements, marksmanship, draws,, ammo storage, reloads, drills, and more. (6hrs/$135/300 rounds required)
Intermediate Classes:
Defensive Handgun 2- Perfect for intermediate and advanced shooters. This class will cover defensive firearms training while building faster and more precise shooters through applied fundamentals drills and exercises. Students will work on shooting from retention, one handed shooting and reloads, utilizing proper cover/concealment, defensive shooting drills, shooting on the move, and more. (8hrs/$165/400 rounds required)
Tactical Fighting Pistol- This class will be an intermediate level class on fighting with a pistol. Topics will cover movement, cover and concealment, advanced level scenarios and techniques, one handed shooting and manipulations, using lights, and more. (7hrs/$165/400 rounds required)
Pistol Marksmanship Clinic/ Long Range Shooting- Whether for personal defense or hunting, this workshop will be all about long distance pistol shooting from 25-200 yards. Accuracy and precision are paramount for responsible gun owners, whether up close or at distance. Life, the hunt, and competitions can all present long distance pistol shooting challenges. Get on target and get proficient at distance. (6hrs/$145/350 rounds are required)
Advanced Classes:
Advanced Warfigher Handgun- This class is for advanced handgun shooters. It will contain fast paced drills, scenarios, timed events, special operations qualification drills, self-defense scenarios, and movement drills for accelerated heartbeats, team drills, CQB, advanced one handed manipulations, and more. (8hrs/$175/500 rounds required)
Advanced Carry Handgun- This event is for responsible citizens who carry a handgun for personal protection and are familiar with defensive shooting. this class will cover drawing from concealment under stress, high intensity shooting, defensive shooting scenarios, shooting in/around crowds, shooting moving targets, using cover/concealment, improvised positions, vehicle defense, brain trainers and more. (8hrs/$175/450 rounds required)
