Survival Medical Classes

Wilderness/ Survival First Aid- This class is perfect for the hunter, outdoors man, or prepper. Too often people go hiking or hunting without proper medical knowledge. This class will touch on basic survival skills, but mainly focuses on medical treatments such as wound cleaning, bandaging, makeshift splits, building stretchers in the wild, patient extraction, and more. (8hrs/$120)

Medicinal and Holistic Plant ID and Remedies- We will be learning about commonly found NC native plants and their medicinal preparation, doses, and uses. Students will get hands on learning in identification as well as making salves, tinctures, and more! (4hrs/$75)

Survival Medicine: Illnesses and Treatments- We will be looking at common illnesses, diseases, viruses, and more seen in the real world and in survival situations. We will look at how to diagnose it without technology, how to treat it, antibiotics and medicines, how to dose and administer, and more! This is a mini crash course medical school. Great for survival enthusiasts all the way to prepared moms. (4.5hrs/$85)

Advanced Technical Medical Skills- Students will learn how to administer advanced invasive life-saving medical interventions. This should not be practiced in everyday life, but might be necessary in austere or survival situations. Topics include injections, IVs, suturing, staples, surgical airways, and more. (8hrs/$200)
